The Professional Hub: Electrek (Wix CMS)

For this live commercial project, I developed a robust digital presence for a professional electrical services provider in Calgary. This project required balancing a clean, high-tech aesthetic with deep functional requirements for a service-based business.

Service Architecture: I built a responsive hub detailing complex residential and commercial electrical solutions, from EV charging stations to industrial code compliance.

User Engagement: The site integrates a “Smart Tips” blog and a dynamic project gallery to showcase “Superior Craftsmanship” while driving local SEO.

Client Management: By utilizing the Wix CMS, I provided the client with a 5-star digital home that they can easily manage while maintaining a high-performance, professional look.

Custom Architecture: Cloudgarden Interiors (HTML/CSS)

To push my technical boundaries beyond drag-and-drop builders, I architected Cloudgarden Interiors—a biophilic design concept—entirely from scratch using hand-coded HTML and CSS.

Grid Mastery: While Flexbox could have simplified certain UI elements, I executed the entire site layout using CSS Grid to meet strict technical requirements and demonstrate mastery over complex, two-dimensional alignments.

Performance & Standards: The site is built with a mobile-first philosophy, ensuring fluid responsiveness across all devices. I maintained a clean, organized codebase utilizing camelCase for all JavaScript variables and CSS classes.

GitHub Integration: This project is hosted via GitHub Pages, demonstrating my ability to manage version control and move a project from a local development environment to a live production server.

Before moving to code, I utilize professional design tools like Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create high-fidelity visual layouts. This phase ensures that the luxury aesthetic—emphasizing “Luxurious and Indulgent” vibes—is perfected before the first line of code is written.
